    Deadly is not an understatement

Actually, Kovalev has no problems at 175...
His only problem is to get the belt holders into the ring.

        Kovalev

Will beat the pants of the much less talented and slower Stevenson.

it's also the truth, stevenson might have been in jail but kovalev is the one who has actually killed someone.

i think boxing fans are just extremely thirsty for a new puncher.........
I don't think it's that necessarily. I think it's that a lot of guys knew Sillakh had some solid skills. He's pretty quick, moves well, has decent pop and sometimes that usually bothers punchers. Apparently it doesn't bother Kovalev much though.

                #1 lhw

One quick look at Kovalev's mitt work in the dressing room, and you wouldn't want to bet against this guy with any other LHW. Give us Kovalev-Stevenson or Kovalev-Froch first. Then Kovalev-Ward for all the marbles!!!

True Kovalev has power but Hopkins is smart. Hopkins is still winning because he's smart in the ring. If Kathy Diva thought Kovalev could beat Hopkins, they would have made the fight vs fighting Cleverly.
From what I have seen of Kovalev (which I have to admit I've only seen 3 of his fights), I think old man Hopkins has enough tricks in his bag to pull out a victory.

The "odd" punch? Kovalev's punches are far from odd. He lands them and when he does you go night night. He kills B Hop. The real fight is Stevenson and that's a mismatch because Adonis is not that good.

Outstanding KO, but I have a feeling Stevenson would have done the same to the chinny Sillakh. That being said, Kovalev looked a little sharper than Stevenson to me tonight. **** Froch or B-Hop, Stevenson needs to fight Kovalev and give the fans the titillating fight they want to see.
