Comments Thread For: Sergey Kovalev Demolishes Sillakh With Deadly KO

Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada - Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev (23-0-1, 21KOs) demolished Ismayl "The Black Russian" Sillakh (21-2, 17KOs) in two rounds. After a good first round for Sillakh, Kovalev drilled Sillkah early in the second round with a big right hand. Sillkah managed to get to his feet and then Sillkah was dropped very hard with a combination that nearly put him out cold. The fight was stopped immediately by the referee.

Badass KO, but if his chin ain't granite, he's gonna get hurt, sooner or later.

Kovalev called out Stevenson. The fight would no doubt feature knockout of the year. Someone is going to go down in the fight when they face off.

Kovalev did his thing but I still don't think he could beat B-Hop. Should Adonis win tonight and he fights Kovalev next you can be sure someone will get KO'd. Kovalev has some real power.

A prime hopkins? definitely not....... but this Hopkins I think he would. Kovalev can box abit too and he will always land at some point, I think it would take a Ward to beat him because he has the activity, defense and maybe enough toughness to absorb the odd punch that Kovalev lands.

One good thing about it ending early is that we didn't have to endure more than a couple of rounds of Jim Watt and Nick Hailing telling us all how clumsy and slow Kovalev is.
