He is maybe out of the top 10 at 154 forget p4p, being popular doesn't make him a great fighter.

He should never have been top 10 to begin with, and certainly shouldn't be now.

Not in the top ten that's for sure. He dropped the ball big time with that performance against floyd. He doesn't deserve a shot with cotto right away. Let him earn it go beat Molina or Lara first.

canelo is still considered undefeated at 154 lbs. he lost a boring ud as a drained zombie at 152 fighting the queen of catchweight floyd the fraud.

Canelo was tailor made for Floyd so I don't hit his stock hard like I don't tax Rios for his last fight. He did beat Austin Trout so he deserves some type of recognition.

I can't seem to place him tho.

He was on anyone's P4P list? He's a good young fighter, but one Trout win does not make you P4P. Broner in the P4P is the biggest travesty though.

Deserve a shot at Cotto?? deserve?? Cotto lost to Floyd as well then lost to Trout then came back and beat some dude named Rodriguez...seems like both are in the same position if you ask me
