Even though I really like Pacquiao and wish him success as a leader of the Philippines I really do think he will fail miserably, reason being as a leader you need to be hard and stern most important you need to make you own decision and Pacquiao does not do that and seemingly he just can not. All his boxing decisions he leaves it to Bob "Depends on my promoter Bob Arum" Lets take Imran Khan as an example, as an ex cricketer the gentle man was known as a leader on and off the pitch, even then he's not successful.
Can Pacquiao be an successful politician???

I imagine, like I imagine with most athletes who enter politics, that Pac has a vast array of aides who do a lot of the decision making under the guise of "advising." At the very least, they can keep him in office.
Though, on the other hand, Pac would know more than most I would think what life is like for the poor of his country and how he could help them. Whether that translates now that he's actually in position I don't know.Comment
