Recently Boxingscene.com had the chance to sit down with Travis Kauffman about his upcoming fight with Jason Barnett (14-14) this Saturday night at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA. This event will also be broadcasting LIVE WORLDWIDE on GFL.tv.

Kauffman was originally slated to face Manuel Quezada but Quezada did not submit for his blood work on time. After the realization that Quezada was not going to happen promoter Marshall Kauffman was hell bent on finding another opponent. After many of his choices turned down the fight, things were looking bad until Jason Barnett accepted the challenge.

too bad Quezada pulled out. that would have been a decent domestic level dust up. 2 C level guys going at it. those fights can been good ones when they are evenly matched. he should have little issues with Barnett (seen him a few times) & the joe hanks fight would be another good C level fight so hopefully he gets through this fight in one piece. i like these C level HW fights. joey abell \ raphael butler, minto\maddalone, pajkic\butler, etc..
