BoxingScene.com has been advised that Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15KOs) withdrew from a scheduled HBO showdown with Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9KOs). The fight was going to take place on January 18th at the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada. The main event that evening is a light heavyweight grudge match between Canadian superstars Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal.

Jennings is always in shape and always ready to fight; it's a shame that the match was canceled. Hopefully they'll get a replacement.

Kind of short notice at this point plus Perez got cut last fight. If they change the date , good fight. Thing is I don't think anyone is looking forward to getting in the ring with Perez . Great power and great chin !
