I doubt Marquez wants anything to do with this fight at this point in his career . I think he wants Bradley so much because Bradley has no power.

Provo is the type of fighter that marquez MUST avoid right now. Just go ahead and fight manny and retire or just retire right now. In provo, he'd probably win, but provo is an extremely strong fighter that a 40-year old body of marquez would surely absorb enormous damage than even in winning; it will be too much for his body as per punishment. Surely, there is no way you're leaving a provo fight unscathed; unless if you are a pernell or a floyd type of a boxer.

        147

I think Marquez has made it very clear that he wants a belt at 147 to secure his status as the greatest Mexican boxer ever.

          Provo/Marquez is like Drago/Creed.

It's all fun and games until one of those monster shots from the Russian lands.

He struggled against Pacquiao too, who beat him at least twice, and he didn't need to cheat him on the scales to do it.

LOL...NO WAY In Hell Marquez Will Fight Provo, ESPECIALLY With Drug Testing In Place!

Marquez took half the money to fight Bradley, rather than fight Pacquiao and get exposed his Hail Mary punch with a fluke. He thought Bradley was a soft fight, an easy belt to get, due to the beatdown that Pacquiao & Provo gave Bradley, and unfortunately it didn't work out so well for JMM, and is always the case when he loses, he cries foul. He still won't fight Pacquiao, and no way will he get in the ring with Provo, after the train wreck he gave Bradley & Alvarado. So do whatever you want with Marquez in the rankings, with drug testing in place, he looked like a slow 40 year old; he's no factor in Boxing. Have Marquez go fight a shot Erik Morales, who he ducked an entire career. I'm tired of hearing anything about Marquez; he's a real weasel.

Screw all the belts... Marquez is not the greatest mexican fighter ever, not even close. Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr & Salvador Sanchez come to mind before I consider Marquez the Weasel. IN FACT, Marquez ducked Erik Morales an entire career, and I find Morales more credible than Marquez. At least Morales took defeat like a Pro. Marquez begged Pacquiao for 4 fights, and now begging Bradley for a rematch. What a deadbeat.

Marquez is NOT losing to a power punching brawler who lacks special effects....Marquez is good money against anyone like that imo
