Chisora is a somewhat peculiar fellow, his antics have put him on the map more than his performances.what are his best wins ? I never quite understood the hype surrounding this dude,he went 12 with a 41 year old man and was thoroughly schooled, correct me where I'm wrong but wasn't Adamek castigated for the same kind of performance against Eddie Chambers, yet Adamek won ! I admired Chisora for his humility after the Vitali fight.but for him to go into the Haye fight weighing more than he did against Vitali stinks bad,to me Chisora was only there for the payday in that fight.

I don't know if you can admire a dude like him after all his exploits,he's clearly a weirdo.maybe he should rematch Scott.has the dude ever had a convincing victory bar Gerber ?

Wladimir vs Chisora is laughable, the dude has apparently been shedding weight, now for me that was his biggest asset, his power.Chisora isn't at all a threat to the Klitschko domination.

If he silences the hype job Wilder,he deserve Wlad on merit.

          This is not true

He looked awful against Thompson, I can't imagine anyone ducking him.

I thought Pulev was composed against Thompson, struggled to settle into a rythim but once he worked Thompson out and adapted to the southpaw style he was encountering after 3 rounds he really seized the initiative and completely shut Thompson out,it was as though Thompson lost that early belief and accepted he was up against a far tougher opponent than himself,I dont recall Pulev being hurt at all and he closed the show out with a thorough shut out, simply he did what he had to do against a tricky, older, wilier opponet.I also believe he showed Thompson far too much respect early on due to the manner of Thompson's previous victory, the power Thompson was supposed to have was none existent against Pulev, which in turn makes me wonder does Price have any business at the weight ! it doesn't look promising for the young guy.

Not really. He's better than a lot of the guys Wlad has fought lately, and certainly done more. He's one of the better options in the division right now.

And he's one of those fighters who would turn Wlad into clinching f*g the whole fight.

Didn't Vitali essentially wash this dude with a torn rotor cuff?

Yeh,Vitali fought from around the second or third,I'd have to rewatch the fight, but you can tell Chisora is in big trouble early on,but his corner inspire him to keep going as he isn't taken as much punishment as the first few rounds.I remember thinking that night, about the third round,Chisora won't take much more of this and by the 5-6th I realised Vitali was struggling,on the American broadcast the actual commentary team document that Vitali isnt using his jab to set up the right hand and hasn't used it at all.

Vitali should retire with his belt before he is retired on his stool, though I thought he showed tremendous character to come through 9 rounds of action with the tear to the cuff.the pain must have been excruciating.a true test of a warriors strength to come through that kind of adversity.

maybe his body has just taken too much through the years, from the earlier career in kickboxing to the rigors of being the top of his game for so long within the flagship division of the most competitive sports in the world.
