    Fighters don't have long hair.

"Headgear, hair bands or dark glasses are not allowed, except for religious or
      medical reasons"

      From the AIBA rules.
Can you imagine someone trying to fight with sunglasses on....?

not in a pro boxing match. because as silly as it might sound hair bands could be considered a form of headgear, no matter how ineffective it might be..

Yea if headbands were legal, Delahoya would not only have come into the ring with his shorts up to his ******* but also a pvc headband covering half his face.
