Comments Thread For: Cameron Not Worried About Ring Rust Against Minto

Shane Cameron insists his lack of time in the ring will have no bearing on next month's heavyweight bout with Brian Minto.

The 38-year-old American has fought six times in the last two years, compared to Cameron's two fights.

Cameron's last fight was a loss to Danny Green late last year, but the kiwi heavyweight is playing down the impacts of a break from the sport.

i like shane Cameron & he is a better fit at HW. is he a threat for a title? no he is not but in the HW division you never know. i never thought in a million years alex leapai would be in striking distance of a title shot & here he is... make that fight happen next. leapai\Cameron or Cameron\lucas browne...

Sounds ****** but will be won by the best boxer, they are both tough and share some similarities, I hope Shane doesnt go into caveman mode and remembers he is a boxer not a toughman participant

Funny coincidence I always thought Brian "the Beast" Minto would be a good opponent for Shane , hes dangerous though but I havent seen him for a few years and hes 38

I expect this fight will descend into a gruelling slugfest after early rounds, like to see some great boxing but whatever, hard to pick IMO but I guess Shane Cameron is a bit more powerful if he is still what he was
