During Wednesday's final press conference, light heavyweight contender Tony Bellew lashed out at WBC champion Adonis Stevenson. Bellew (20-1-1, 12KOs) is not impressed with Stevenson (22-1, 19KOs) and says the public and HBO are overhyping the champ. They will collide on Saturday night at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City, Canada.

Bellew says Stevenson is being pushed based on his last two wins, but doesn't do well against opponents who fight back and says history proves his point - when Stevenson was stopped by Darnell Boone (then 16-15) in two rounds in 2010. I've never been able to get behind Bellew, everything about him rubs me the wrong way. His bias commentary, his style, his ego believing hes a huge puncher when hes a decent puncher at best, his psychotic glaring staredowns.
The way he talks about being willing to walk through hell & back only to go out & fight very conservatively.

I am going too really enjoy Stevenson leveling the fruitcake.

Whilst I can see Bellew keeping Stevenson at bay for a while with his reach, this ain't gonna end well for Bellew. If Bellew actually believes that he can KO Stevenson however, we may be in for a shorter night.

Bellew is OK, but he's simply not that good and a KO monster he certainly is not.
