Well even if Shane did quit in that fight he could never be labelled a quitter because he's proven time and again that he's a tough warrior, he has never quit in fights against the best fighters out there. But everyone's journey in boxing comes to an end and I think this is how Mosley's story in the ring will end. It's more to do with desire and motivation to fight after such a long and successful career.

To me it seems Mosley just hasn't got that desire anymore, just like Tyson lost his desire and got beaten by some lesser competition at the end of his career, same thing has been happening to Mosley and now we finally saw his lack of motivation surface in his in-ring behavior. Mosley is just tired of fighting.

I think Shane should hang it up. For a while now his speech hasn't seemed right and he's a little vacant when questioned. There aren't any big money fights waiting for him, nothing left to prove, just ride away.

Please, he fought all three at the tale ends of their careers, especially Gatti. Manfreddy had losses prior to Floyd and after Floyd....he lost to Corrales, Spadafora, and a few guys with only one loss on their records...no exactly scrubs. He also won three consecutive fights immediately after the Floyd fight.

I'll bet you that Canelo even beats Cotto if he fights Cotto next.......but I guess Floyd also ruined Cotto too though?
