I bought tickets to the fight Dec. 14 hoping to see an all star lineup anybody know what's the deal

There were some reports that the deal initially fell through because of (surprise, surprise) disputes over purses, or that it got pushed back because Mares wanted to take the rest of the year off. In any case, it is back on for February 15 in LA.

That's bs but thanks anyway I wonder if the card will turn out to be a good 1 instead of 2 big fights

I dont think they were ever intended to fight on Dec 14th. Victor Ortiz was supposed to fight Carlos Molina for the IBF Belt but the IBF wouldnt allow it. There's still three good fights on the card. Santa Cruz is exciting and the Thurman/Soto Karass bout should be good.
