    Only 10 days left/Rigondeaux-agbeko/Lara-trout

ok guys I know almost everyone think that Rigondeaux will win, but what I'm curious is how agbeko is going to fight, is it going to be his old self or became gunshy once he gets hit?
Lara-trout is different a least on paper, I know almost every mexican wants trout to win, most are citing "triangle theories", but I think Lara should win this fight hands down, what do you think?

I think Lara looks ordinary when he fights anyone with a pulse. He looked like **** against Molina, Martirosian, and Angulo. Molina in the only world beater out of the three. I expect another lack luster performance from him. The only way this fight ends up being any good is if Trout presses the action. Something he's not known for but, he showed he could do against Canelo.

I think Trout deserves to be the slight favorite, he's the bigger man and has fought the better competition. And even though he was getting out boxed by Canelo that performance was much more impressive than Lara's last victory where he looked like he was on his way to being stopped. It's a pretty dead even fight and will probably be a snooze fest. But I like Trout by close UD.

Both Cubans should win, Rigo in much easier fashion.

Rigo hits very hard for a 122 pounder. A lot of people don't seem to understand this. I think Agbeko will try to press, until he feels the power. Then he'll press in spurts.

        Can't wait for this fight..

I want to see Rigo win by K.O.

We all know he can box everyone's socks off. I know everyone will say , well why would he risk anything and get away from his style and what has worked for him??

Well don't complain when he is struggling to get paid like a superstar because networks are not interested in him. I'm tired of his camp and 15 fans complaining. He has the skills to pick every opponent apart in spectacular fashion.

And I think Lara vs trout will be a snooze fest.

This is very true. But I don't think it's exactly pure power. I think he generates power from a combination of being perfectly balanced , accuracy , speed and where he places his punches. He has decent pop , but I think with those things he has 1 punch k.O power.

That's why I want to see him be more aggressive. I think he can toy with people. Not only by outboxing them.

Good post (although I wouldn't go calling Molina a "world beater").

This is a toss-up fight. I never thought Lara was as good as some seem to think. I think he's good, just not that good. I liked his performance versus Angulo for the guts and determination he showed, although Landy really should've looked better versus the limited "Perro."

Lara's biggest issue is his lack of activity. Perhaps he has some stamina issues and likes to conserve energy. He has balls, fighting on with a nasty hematoma versus P. Will and coming back from two KDs to make Angulo quit. Landy can be exciting in that regard.

This is a big fight for both men, so I expect some urgency.

Not necessarily looking forward to them at all, both very boring fights on paper. Next event I'm really looking forward to is the Broner-Maidana card.

I expect Agbeko to be himself. He's going to try to press Rigo, make him uncomfortable, work the body and make it a rough fight. I'm interested in this fight because Rigo hasn't really faced a world class experienced pressure fighter so I think we will see some new tricks up his sleeve.

The pressure is on Lara. IMO, he hasn't looked "spectacular" since the Paul Williams fight. He was starting to take over the Vanes fight before it got stopped and he showed heart and toughness against Angulo but its time he puts a complete fight together and show the world why many believe he is the best 154 pounder in the world right now.

This is also a must win for Trout. Many thought he beat Canelo and this would be the perfect fight to set up a rematch sometime next year.
