Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs), said Manny Pacquiao's dominating victory over Brandon Rios is not enough to earn him the biggest fight in the sport. Pacquiao returns on April 12, while Mayweather is back on May 3. He says Pacquiao looked very good in the contest, last Saturday night in Macau, but attributes the impressive performance to Rios' stylistic flaws. Mayweather Sr. says he expected a lot more from Rios.
why do these guys just keep setting roadblocks. they know pac can give them their biggest payday now. why keep making excuses. they should be looking at pac as easy money but they know otherwise.
Cause Guerrero, Ortiz and underweight Canelo are so much more impressive...
Froch just beat Groves so maybe he is qualified to fight Floyd?
Floyd don't fight anyone really impressive, let alone beat anyone, so why Senior has gotten into his own deluded head, people have to qualify to fight Floyd is anyones guess?

The funny thing is that no one has a better resume than pac, so unless floyd retires, his father's logic is ridiculous.
Mayweather Sr needs to shut up. Pacquiao brings the money, the viewers and the kudos (legacy-wise). He is easily the best other fighter of this era and spouting anything otherwise is diva-like posing.
Beating Rios doesn't prove much but at this point who cares? As long as both are given credit For whatever the result, do it.
