    taylor.

groves may have landed the slightly more impactful blows but taylor was tagging froch with clean shots on a far more regular basis. he also didnt start getting tired or taking real damage as soon as groves did. even when george was "dominating" early froch was landing some hard, clean shots to the body. as a result i always had the feeling groves was going to fade rather than might fade as i felt with taylor. who was more composed and boxing at a nice pace early unlike groves who seemed a bit too intense for his own good at times.

I say groves, no one really thought groves was in froch's league so that makes his win look more emphatic

Froch looked badly hurt and almost out of it in both knockdowns but got saved by the bell both times--more so against Groves. Overall I think Taylor showed more composure than Groves, but Groves did a lot more damage on Froch (see rounds 1,6,7)--pretty much hitting him with right hands at will.
