Fitzpatrick: Groves will K.O. Froch within 4 in a rematch

    Source: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/...st/id594783109

Interesting interview from Groves's trainer. He mentions how the referee was seen 'liking' a post on facebook before the fight, where a fan said to him he sees Groves being stopped.

Does this suggest that the referee went into the fight with some preconceptions to how tough Groves was? Did this influence the stoppage?

Fitzpatrick also states how in a rematch Groves will knock out Froch within 4 rounds. Worth a listen!

No he won't. Froch will be more motivated in a rematch and eat the kid alive. Are we going to pretend the first good punches Froch landed didn't hurt Groves and stop him>\?

I agree the ending will be the same. I doubt Groves will land a more damaging shot on Froch.

I hope this is not Groves' mindset going in. All he needs to do is box.

Froch will train like a machine for the rematch, and will start fast and furious, i belive he takes the fragile groves out early

The rematch needs to happen because of the controversy

I think people are forgetting that Groves changed trainers during the build up and had the management contract issues with the fight a week before with Booth so missed a bit of training at a key time.

                Probably helped.

                Fitzpatrick > Booth.

The punches didn't stop Groves, they hurt him and the referee prematurely stopped it.

Yeah it was ****** of him to trade with Froch on the ropes. The early knockdown probably made him overconfident.

If groves can keep his head clear, no way he can lose this fight.
Froch can't close the distance unless Groves helps him to.
