Former light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (31-3, 17KOs) hopes to sign with a promoter soon. As BoxingScene.com previously reported, Dawson has left his long time promoter Gary Shaw and is a free agent.

"I am looking to sign with which every promoter can get me back to where I need to be and has my best interests at heart. I am going to be looking to pick up where I left off," Dawson stated.

The 31-year-old Dawson plans on fighting a couple of tune ups and then wants to fight any of the top fighters in the division including Sergey Kovalev who faces Ismael Silakh on Saturday in an HBO televised fight. [Click Here To Read More]
