If Groves just boxes him in the rematch he's going to win by a wide UD. I think Froch realizes as well that Groves is far superior. There was an obvious talent gap between them. Groves is the much better boxer. Froch would have to knock him out again in the rematch in order to win. I think he'll take his lucky win and move on.

Groves is the better boxer and his right hand can hurt Froch. In a rematch, it would depend on Groves sustaining the discipline needed to keep Froch on his back foot. Starting in round 8, Groves started to fade. In the next round, he didn't have much left. If you don't take out Froch early, you have to keep it together for the full 12 because Froch comes on during the later rounds.

          Froch is shot!

Groves exposed Froch for being a slow, defenceless and a slow starter ... (As though we never knew this 5 years ago?)

You're kidding yourself if you think Froch's strength didn't lie in the later rounds, 1st round knockdown, biased commentary overhyping such handspeed against a decade older fighter who is known for a lax defence, WOW amazing!

Everyone was gagging Groves ****, and booking tickets for Ward v Groves by the 6th round that they didn't realise Groves fatiguing (As usual) and having Froch bounce punches off his chin, that when they turned their head up, at the first chance they were shouting robbery of a sure win! (6 round fight, amirite?)

When actually it was the chance for him to weather the storm and having a chance for Froch to demonstrate his other strength, finishing execution.

Groves faded as the fight went on against DeGale and the only other time he went 12 rounds was against an old shot Glen Johnson.

I think it would be a similar outcome if the rematch went into the latter rounds. But Groves has shown he has the power to put Froch in trouble so he would have to try and catch Froch cold again to win imo.

if groves paces himself he'll easily beat froch on points. maybe stop him.

groves will be a much better fighter when he gets in the gym. froch will not.

i'm just glad ward ddin't go to england. can you f#cking imagine if they pulled that sh#T on prince ward? you know they would. he'd slip on some ice on the canvas, and the ref would wave his hands.

Probably not if he wants a rematch with Ward.

Why didn't he do that the first time? Froch is just relentless. Imagine putting someone on ***** street in the first round and then they just walk through the same bombs for the rest of the fight. It's mentally tiring as well as physically.

Even Ward got very ragged and out of sorts in the later rounds against Froch. He was blowing hard, Froch just has a way of getting to people.

It's quite ridiculous really, on a number of occasions over the years I've thought Froch was made to look amateurish but he just keeps going. There's always the worry though that the guy goes on too long and gets seriously hurt. You take bombs like he did on Saturday, even though he gets credit for the win, and it's got to take something out of you. Never seen him hurt like that before in the first, and I just hope the guy doesn't go on too long because he is a beast and a credit to British Boxing.

He's gave me some great nights well before he was mainstream and he deserves the credit he gets.
