Are Floyds fans scared to put him in with Manny?

I'm a huge fan of both men. They're both fantastic boxers. I think, though, if you look back through history at the bouts involving someone of superior technique against a more exciting fighter, it's usually the technique man who wins. Tunney over Dempsey, Floyd over Canelo, Johnson over Jeffries. Sugar Ray over Jake, Leonard over Duran etc. Obviously this isn't always the case but at the very highest level it usually is. So Mayweather would have to be the favourite. It'd still be a fantastic fight, though.

He agreed with 21 day cutoff. Then 3 months later he came back with 7 day cutoff or better, and Floyd went on extended vacation incognito. HBO pres couldnt track him down even.

But as you can see, Floyd didn't think that kind of ability was natural. He should know, he's got a gym full of users

Once Arum and Roach found out that Shane Floyd stopped getting tested 19 days before his fight with Floyd...they used this as some sort of crutch to either get out of the fight or make it look like that they wanted the fight but that this was something legitimate to complain about. Shane never asked for a cutoff date during RANDOM testing.

These clowns are so overhyped of manny fighting a tailor made opponent, they don't realize these threads will be bumped if the fight miraculously gets made after Floyd toys with man juice then watch them backtrack like usual

The moment the fight gets made. It will go from "Floyd is ducking PAC"etc etc to PAC is shot or insert whatever excuse because reality of PAC getting outclassed will sink in the moment the fight is announced...if it can get made

Yup...Its like they love the fact the fight has been made so they can keep calling Floyd a duck ect. But like you said if it gets done then the tune will change and all this garage about how they should have fought years ago and Floyd waited until Pac declined bs...I pray the fight gets made...win or lose I just want it settled!

Every time somebody has made a poll and ask who should Floyd fight if Manny's name is on the list I don't care who else is on the list Manny always wins.

If you still are not convinced just click on you back up button and count how many threads there are on Manny fighting Floyd.

If you don't want to watch it then don't but that doesn't mean that boxing fans don't care anymore

I have no problem with a 7 day cutoff, and immediate post fight test. It's really reasonable, provided your goal is to get the fight made.. But Floyd has a track record of ridiculous goalpost moves (40m flat, Pac must sign with TMT), so it's no wonder he got lost when a reasonable 7 day cutoff offered.

Manny looked spectacular against an opponent 10 levels below Floyd.

Not saying it shouldn't happen. But why not let Manny continue to rack up the wins and titles, while at the same time testing his chin, then call out Floyd when he's ready to say goodbye to the sport?

Not even Freddie is confident Manny can beat Floyd.

Besides, Bob will find another way to throw a monkey wrench into the plans and pretend like it's Floyd setting up road blocks.

The quicker Manny fights Mayweather the better for him. His style isn't one that necessarily transitions well into old age, whereas you could conceivable see Mayweather fight until he's ****ing fifty with that style of his.

im not convinced, from what ive read on here there seems to be a lot of only pac fans or floyd fans and not real actual boxing fans.

This I agree with 100% and it's the same thing Floyd has done before.
He is really good at avoiding fighters when they pose a threat and then when somebody else exposes their weakness he don't mind getting the fight made. I believe that is his plan with Manny. Just keep waiting, the longer he waits the easier it will be. I still think Floyd had a better chance of winning even when Pac was at his peak. I would say the fight was 55/45 for Floyd.
Now it's maybe 60/40 for Floyd but still nobody else is going to even get close to that. Pac is the #1 opponent for Floyd.
