If you have competed in a professional sport for 10 years...was it boxing? If you did compete at a professional level, then you should understand Rios.
I think I'm going to pass out...You actually said something that made sense!! Good post.

I have no bias. Everyone eventually gets beat. They ALL can be beat. Depends on circumstance.
Rios was chosen for a reason. Everyone knew that. He chose to believe his own hype job. He forgot how shady this sport really is at its core.
Those were the tears of a fool.
Garcia will get this kid hurt someday just like Margarito.
A fighter choose to believe in himself....What should he have done, not believe in himself? Some 'professional sportsman' you must have been. With a mentality like that, you must have been really crap.

As regards Rios' tears of a fool? No, those were the tears of a proud professional fighter who had trained for months and prepared the best he had ever done only to come up short over 36 minutes against an ATG fighter who is clearly still very much a force.

You're post makes you look like a clownshoe.

No shame at all in defeat. But don't all of a sudden change your M.O. After you lose. Obviously by you words you've never competed against anyone a day in you life. Through competition we learn to ignore and defy fear. The message sent after competing via combat is probably as close to who you really are as an athlete. Rios was tested and failed miserably. He cried after losing and I'm a clownshoe? Your post make you look like a self important fan boy. Stop living through others. Get out there and achieve your own success. It's not that hard. Compete and win. Just keeps your tears to yourself when you lose. No one wants to hear that crap.
Grow some and man up like you did on Friday when you camp was talking mad **** Bam Bam.

I feel you. At least you're honest. Some people live in fantasy land. As in I'm elite even though I came off a points loss to B level Alvarado but I'm going to retire a Hall of Famer because my weak ass trainer told me so! Waaaaaaaaa!
But hey $4M for my soul is fair trade.

By the way dumbasses like Rios and Ghost Guerrero are the reason some boxing promoters grandkids grandkids will die rich. One well place blurb that shows that slightest form of disrespect and the fools will run off at the mouth and sell more ppv. Manny didn't have to anything to promote this fight. Just show up, fight and he made $18M.
At least Mayorga understood his role and made a living off it.

These guys fall for the same stuff all the time. Then again there's a reason it's the sport of the poor.
C'mon gong. Don't try that here. Been in the sport too long for some chat room warrior to shake me up. I bet you stream fights illegally too.

No sunshine, you havent been in the sport at all because if you had been, you would know that there is a culture of respect that runs deep in this sport especially after the fight is over. You're just being a prick, making assumptions about others based off nothing and trying to **** on a fighter who got caught unawares and overtaken by the emotion of the moment. You have only been here 5 minutes anyway and you're probably just the crappy alt of some WUM troll.

From your posts in here I think its pretty safe to assume that you have never played any kind of sport seriously, whether as an individual or as part of a team. Who would want to work or play with someone that cowardly, who has such a piss poor attitude and complete lack of respect and regard for their opponent and the sport they compete in? I see lads like you come in the gym every so often. They generally dont last longer than a session at worst or a couple of weeks at best. I'm not the only one here who will tell you that.
