Boxingscene hosted an article where Arum says they need 650-700K to break even...

Regardless of its' veracity, if the 500K projection proves true, they fell well under their BEP, putting them in a position where something has to give. Whether that's negotiating a lower guarantee for Pacquiao ($30+M) or trying to negotiate a fight against a more lucrative opponent that isn't in their stable (if Marquez continues to reject a 5th fight).

I had given up on the Mayweather-Pacquiao, but this might be the best time for "genuine negotiations" to take place, instead of the artificial ones from 09-10.

Getting more then 500k for the worst PPV in years has to be considered a great success.

Def knew it would do 500,000. Thought people were crazy saying 700,000-800,000...
-there was no hype for the fight
            -wasnt in America
-Pacs been losing, Rios as well
-Pac didnt have any commercials or jimmy kimmel interviews as usual
-even filipinos i know who always watch pac didnt even know he was fiting, and not much filipino americans posting about thr fight.

Pacquiao def needs to build back his hype with a big name next fight..if may doesnt want it, hes gotta go for bradleyrematch
