NOONE will ever KO Rios in the Welter division.
Rios vs Provodnikov

Does this fight really get made though? Ruslan's a new titleholder at 140 and Rios isn't going down there again, he's looking to campaign at 147-154.
If it does happen I like Provodnikov. Don't think Rios can cope with his bodyworkComment

This should be an interesting fight. I think the fight happens at 147, because according to Rios in an interview post-fight he won't leave welter.
Bradley opined that Provodnikov hits harder than Pacquiao, if this fight happens we'll find out if Tim is telling the truth.Comment

I'm going against the grain and saying Provodnikov gets stopped. If Bradley can hurt Provodnikov, Rios can. And I don't see anyone outclassing Rios inside his phone booth.
Ruslan beat Alvarado because he's great at catching guys on the back foot. Rios isn't. But, Ruslan is there to be hit, as is Rios. Rios just has more tools on the inside.
Rios' vulnerability is straight shots and guard splitting, which is something Ruslan doesn't really do, and doesn't do all that well. Ruslan is vulnerable during exchanges, and you can bet your ass that there would be plenty of those. Rios has very underrated defense as far as rolling, catching, slipping, and smothering punches. For a guy who is literally always within punching range, and right in front of you, he doesn't get tagged nearly as much as he should (granted he gets hit more than the division average, probably).Comment

I really hope this fight happens. And during training camp, someone shows Prov the video of Seckbach making fun of his mom.Comment

There is nothing fake about Provo. The man is as crazed and intense as they come. He's the kind of guy that would straight up murder Seckbach with his bare hands for even whispering his moms name. As for the fight I could see it going either way honestly. Would be a war while it lasted.Comment
