No, those fights made sense because they were big money type of events at that time and this one is no different.

You don't demand that fighter X has to beat fighter Y and Z in order for the biggest money fight in the world to happen. That's nonsensical. If he was just some contender to a belt and the champion only faced number one contenders, then it would be one thing. But this fight doesn't hinge on either of them beating this or that guy to face each other. They have danced around one another for years.

I agree that Manny's name alone should be worth the fight...but I also think that his name and his selected opponents are the only thing keeping his worth. I wish he would leave Arum-I guarantee this fight gets made if Pac was on his own-just like the Cotto fight.
