Who knows , maybe the ref denied Froch a fabulous comeback. Or , he denied Groves the opportunity to land the KO of the year. We'll never know for sure. They now imperatively have to have a rematch.

Having said all that , i think it's safe to say that this was THE best fight of the year. Froch's chin is unreal.

The ref gave Froch the benefit of the doubt every time he got clocked; gave Groves 0 room to recover even though he was fighting back.

Yes seriously. Had the ref not been an idiot and let Meldrick just finish the last few seconds he would had a big victory and gave Chavez his first loss. Those guys were world class fighters. He deserved that victory and he was never the same physically since that fight. Took his victory away to such bull**** stoppage, and the one that would probably had him smile every once a while in a career that went completely downhill.

Froch Vs Groves was bull**** but at least it wasn't like Groves was winning and got up and was still called out with 10 seconds togo. Now i bet you wouldve def said that was the worst stoppage.
