Are you dumb? Goodman, head of VADA said Manny was tested a few weeks a go when Ariza said claimed Manny wasn't tested...

Margaret Goodman, founder of The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), said that Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios have been randomly tested by VADA as contractually agreed upon in advance of their 147-pound clash in Macau on Nov. 23 (Nov. 24 in China).

"I confirm that both fighters have been tested by VADA. The results that we get go directly to the fighter, or to whomever he designates from his camp. They go to the promoter, which is obviously Top Rank, the China Commission, and it goes to the Association of Boxing Commissions," said Goodman.

"So we don't release results to the public. The fighter can release results to the public at any time. Any other details regarding testing or results will have to come directly from the fighters' camps, the promoter, the ABC or the China commission."

Top Rank is using VADA for the third time, having employed the organization in March for WBO welterweight titleholder Tim Bradley's victory over Ruslan Provodnikov, as well as April's unanimous decision by RING, WBA and WBO titleholder Guillermo Rigondeaux over Nonito Donaire.

Peds can also help protect a boxer from death and serious injury.

I dont give a damn, but you do?

If you gave a damn about athletes, you would support them taking drugs made by the ingenuity of man so they can perform at their jobs better. I wouldnt make up laws (the steroid control act) due to nationalistic and political reasons and fraudulently hide behind morality and fake medical malfeasance reasons.

If you actually gave a damn about athletes, you would be for legalizing peds.

        Why?

        1. It would actually level the playing field. The fact that its illegal is what's causing the uneven playing field. Legalize it, and let anybody can use it and its not restricted to only the minority willing to risk their health and reputation to use it.

        2. It would make athletes safer and better. How? By making it meet certain quality requirements. There is at least quality control. Ped makers would be held accountable for their product. The fact that its illegal right now with zero accountability and done in dark corners makes it dangerous.

If you werent so busy and gung ho on your flowmoe trip trying to hate, you could actually wake the **** up like the rest of the country and see that hating on ped use is totally IDIOTIC AND COUNTER PRODUCTIVE.

GROW THE HELL UP AND LEARN SOMETHING.
        ****in hate ****s like you

think of anyone trying to make it in boxing, having to get hooked on all sorts of medication

and im pretty sure these steroids and sht can **** you up later in life, and guys ease off when competition time rolls in due to the tests, but with no testing it'll be roids year round, all you can inject buffet

THEY ARE ALREADY HOOKED UP ON ALL SORTS OF MEDS AND SUPPLEMENTS YOU DAFT C*NT!!!!

Every single governing body in sports have a list of peds OK TO TAKE and NOT OK TO TAKE.

          Its all arbitrary.

Peds can only help your physical state of the game. Its not gonna help you skills wise. You still have to work on your skills.

There is nothing wrong with someone wanting to enhance their performance be it on the field, in the ring, in the classroom or in the bedroom.

The problem arises when there are people who are apprehensive about trying new methods or outright refuse to use drugs to enhance their performance, cry foul when someone else isn't natural like they are.

For some reason there are people that sympathize with these whiners and that's why they are banned/illegal and have a negative image.

IMO, if you are apprehensive about using a drug or an unconventional method to enhance your performance, then clearly it isn't very important to you. Because if it was, you'd be using them.

Here's what people fail to realize. PEDS in a sports context is the equivalent of an Ace Card.

You have one chance to play this Ace Card. And most if not all athletes play this Ace Card when they are at their absolute peak.

If anything athletes that use are not doing it to compensate for a lack of something, but because their body can't keep up with their work ethic. There is a plateau that they simply cannot push through naturally.

Most people who play their Ace Card too early, typically fail and never become anything or their athletic careers burn dry after a short period of time because they used peds when they hadn't even reached their peak yet. They have relied on peds to do most of, if not all the work.

YOu dont want to follow ped users, i suggest you stop following professional sports.

I mean if you dont like to follow and watch athletes on peds, you should stop watching professional sports.

Every single professional athlete takes some kind of ped legal or illegal. If people in different aspects of life can take peds, why not athletes?

You're not the one risking your life, they are. Do you know how many millions of americans take drugs for all sorts of fake illnesses, trying to control their children in school but somehow if athletes take it, its some evil act?

                GTFO.

Spare me the fake outrage and fake moral high ground.
Its not about that, its about both fighters being on even playing fields. If they both do it, fine. If one is and the other isn't, then the fight is pointless.

Everyone in this thread that is surprised needs to go back to the last episode of the fight game. Lampley asks is this the most stringent testing mannys ever done and dr goodman says yes.

One test is the most stringent testing manny has ever done. So its not like they lied.

No wonder manny and his fans like vada so much.

                      sigh....

                      ive already addressed this.

The fact that its illegal is what's causing the uneven playing field.

The fact that peds are illegal (some) is the #1 reason why its an uneven playing field. If you wanted to even the playing field, legalize it, and allow anybody the CHOICE to take it. When its illegal, only those who are willing to risk their health and reputation are willing to take it. The majority are gonna follow the rules set up, not take it and there is your uneven playing field.

How can people not see this?
