Also, I think EVERY fighter's confidence is shaken after a KO loss and Pac is no exception. So for me to expect to see the same Pacquiao that we saw against Margarito is not rational.

And don't forget we have to factor in VADA testing for this fight as well.
Margarito's chin never has and never will be suspect. He got hit with one sledgehammer blow after another from Mosley, who arguable hits harder than Pac. And Mosley didn't make a dent until the 8th round. And Mosley doesn't flurry like Pac, especially against Margarito. He was basically loading up with every shot tee'n off on Margs. A "suspect chin" wouldn't have survived 4rds that night.

      Rios...

Aside from being an action fighter against B competition is nothing. NO one punch shock power, no speed, no defense. He has little skill, just a tough chin.
Sorry, but that didn't even save Gatti who would utterly dismantle the inferior Rios. Rios is not that good.

            Well said. I agree.

Would you be willing to apply the same to the mouthbreathers constantly spouting identical drivel regarding JMM, Floyd, Ward, etc?

as far as knock outs go there's a big difference between getting stopped and getting put to sleep.

If anything happens tonight other than Pac totally destroying this guy. It will simply show that Pac's days as an elite fighter are over and he needs to hang his gloves up.
I tend to agree. Rios has no idea what he is in store for, he thinks he is going to be able bust Pac up or something. I think he gets hurt early and often and won't last the distance for sure.

Rios was close to being stopped vs Alvarado II, so (as Tyson would say) this is pretty much a foregone conclusion. But having said that, Rios is a live dog, with no fear, a brawler. Not that bright and not that good, but a tough brawler none the less. I expect a great fight while it lasts. This definitely won't be an Andre Ward snoozefest.

                    Pacman return

PAC was brilliant with Rios, totally toyed with him. His display is deserving of much more credit than initial reports imply. That devastating knock-out at the hands of Marquez had a profound psychological effect of Manny, and he's handled it like a gentleman. BUT............that K.O could've gone EITHER WAY! over their 4 fights; Coming on to it with Marquez throwing with a perfect shot from a perfectly planted stance" - it would've knocked - out any in the division including Floyd, Alvarez, Broner. In effect, although all their fights were very close, that shot was a lottery win shot - one in a million. PAC was winning on my cards prior.

                      Roach respect

Hasn't anyone else out there been caught by a lucky one? If Mannys finished it would be his decision and not because there's a new wave of "bad ass's" on the horizon. Manny beat Bradley, Manny was beating Marquez before he threw the shot that he was unable to throw in over 36 rounds previously, or for that matter his entire career. All the fighters around 'Money's' weight are tailor made slow but tough sluggers, with perhaps the exception of Bradley and to a lesser extent Garcia. Forget Khan, I admire Khans tenacity but he's out of his depth here.
