What do you think of Pac's sparring footage?

What do you think of Pac's sparring footage for this camp for the Rios fight?

I only seen the few quick scenes they showed in episode 3 24/7 and IMO he didn't really look all that impressive?

From the footage of episode 3 he seemed to be taking lot of hits absorbing them with his guard?

Also Manny didn't really look all that explosive or devastating, but again its only 24/7 right? But usually 24/7 usually shows one or both fighters looking really beast mode. But for some reason this time they didn't really make either fighter look that why?

Rios looks in great shape but he looks slow at 147. Manny does not look as fast as he was.

Does anyone have better footage of the sparring or mitt work?

I think what bothered me the most was that these 3 guys Manny was sparring with are unknowns yet he didn't dominate them?

Zou looked scared to exchange with Manny tho lol even Freddie was like come on go! lol

yeah pac was taking shots and just standing there. Rios looked better and more explosive in his training videos in Macau with Robert, but HBO slowed down the footage and only showed it in clips.

it really makes me wonder if pac looked that bad for just those 5 seconds then what the rest of the 3 minutes look like that HBO cut out?

I don't know why HBO slowed down Rios if anything they should show how fast and hard he ****s to hype him up since most media feel he's gonna be easy for pac.

also why aren't there the usual articles saying how great Pac was in sparring?

or are they out? i havent really been paying close attention to this camp TBH

He didnt slow down at all, he looked as fast as usual against marquez 4 and even in the training for rios. Sparring was only about 5 seconds, check the mitt if you want to see pac's speed

i dont get why HBO would show that 5 seconds they decided to. it didn't make Pac look good at all?

Rios is carring an injury, he had his arm taped on episode two and covered up on this last one so you couldn't see it.

I think it's just HBO making it seem the fight is more competitive,
while i think Rios has a chance as he has plenty of heart and punching power...he is tailor made for pac

it's literally impossible to get anything meaningful out of 15 seconds worth of clips from a 12 round sparring session.

a fighter at this level works on things in sparring. he's not out there to beat up shiming and his crew of flunkies. he's more likely to let them get going to try and sharpen up than he is to just take it to them and beat their asses.

Sometimes after being KOed or hurt like Bradley was, a fighter wants to take some shots and build up some confience and see where he's at. Remember Bradley bringing in Matthysse?

Anyway, I haven't seen the episode but there has been plenty of mitt and bag work from Pacquiao posted on here. So the videos are out there.
