Businessman and boxing manager Henry Rivalta has revealed that he agreed to give a release to world ranked welterweight contender Ed "The Lion" Paredes (34-3-1, 22KOs). Paredes was in action twice in 2013, winning a ten round unanimous decision over Noe Bolanos in August and knocking out Basilio Silva in three rounds in April.
"I was fortunate to work with Ed Paredes and his team for a long period of three years. I have only words of encouragement and best wishes for Paredes and his team headed by Vidal Paredes.
