it'll be interesting to see how many PPV buys Pac/Rios doesAt this point in their careers, Pac does not deseerve that 50/50 split. May should have it now like 65/35split, hes doing Pac a favor for getting ktfo and "2 straight losses" but Pac is still the 2nd biggest name in boxing, 1st wordlwide, he def needs to dominate Rios not just win or else this fight is competely ________
but that HBO/Showtime co-promotion would be epic, hope that u just buy the PPV and you can choose whether to hear "leeets get ready to rumbleeee" pr "its showtiiime". Thats going to add more complications to the already complicated negotiations of mayweather pacquiao for 4 years now
May/Guerrero supposedly did 875k
Pac/Rios is a very similar main card, a superstar vs a no-name but talented fighter
If Pac/Rios does something like 600k or less, there's no way Floyd gives him anywhere near 35%, and you can kiss any percentage of PPV revenue goodbye
this fight isn't happening, not until pacquiao leaves Top RankComment

that's a pretty ridiculous statement
there are many people, including those in the business of boxing (trainers, fighters, journalists) who have stated they aren't fans of Mayweathers style
just because you don't like Floyd's pot-shotting style, doesn't make you any less of a fan
if you think somebody isn't a real fan of boxing, give real reasonsComment

According to haters, everyone is a cherry pick. Especially hindsight. It's common practice by the haters and frankly, it's expected at this point.Comment

ROFL @ International belt. Like boxing needs another belt, let alone one for a fighter that lost his last two fights facing a fighter that lost his last one...
As for Floyd vs Manny:
- Manny only really lost his last fight. Imagine if the judges gave the Floyd fight to Canelo, would we really consider that his first loss? C'mon now, don't let incredibly bad judging cloud your view of how good a fighter really is.
- Manny was winning his last fight pretty well until he got KO'd. It happens. Would you really take Marquez over Manny if they fought tomorrow?
- Manny is still likely the 2nd best 147lber out there. Can't name anyone other than Floyd that would be a favorite vs him tomorrow.
- Floyd doesn't cherry pick or dodge. He fights for money, hell it's his nickname. He doesn't fight for the most profitable fight even, he fights for the share he believes he should get (and Arum never offered what would've been a fair deal based on the market share of both fighters). Floyd's fought Cotto, undefeated Hatton, undefeated Corrales, Castillo twice, undefeated Canelo, a Marquez that gave Manny fits in every fight and an aging but still solid De La Hoya, not to mention loads of top 5 contenders. Manny has also fought great fighters.
Just because people want certain fights doesn't mean that one fighter cherry picks or doesn't fight great fighters. You can't name a 147lber that has defeated a better list of fighters than Floyd in his career. Manny is likely #2 for toughest opponents too. These guys are #1 and #2 and if Arum is desperate to cash in on Manny because some misinformed casual fans actually count the Bradley loss and don't realize a huge Marquez punch could happen to anyone, then this is a benefit and it might result in a big fight between these two giants actually happening.Comment

Anyone that would watch iceskating over boxing or thinks its more exciting, isn't a boxing fan. O boy has admitted he's not a real boxing fan anyway. So in the context of WHO I was responding to and people like o boy I was responding to, my comment was quit frankly on par.that's a pretty ridiculous statement
