Do you see Maidana being able to hit him clean then? I think this fight will tell a lot about Broner's power. If it carries, I can see him looking great in this fight. If doesn't, he could be in for a bad night.

The fight I really want to see is Danny Garcia vs Broner. I think Maidana has more than a shot, but he is quite one dimensional and can be outboxed, Garcia would show Broner what time it is.

Hate to admit it but I think Maidana will get DeMarco'd.

I think people are underestimating Maidana in this fight. Broner had to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time, just like Bradley against Provodnikov.
Add in the fact that he thinks nothing of what Maidana can do and you have yourself a repeat scenario. A slicker, faster, better boxer getting tagged by a slower, less technical guy with a lot of power. The difference is that Tim is the goods and Broner is not and he won't be able to take the heat, he'll likely wilt.

He'd better be in fighting shape. This isn't the usual cherrypick he's used to. Somebody talking El Chino seriously.

Also take in account that we have no evidence thus far that Broner has even average power as a WW, and watch every fight since the De Leon fight he just gets slower and slower in addition to him being a static target easy to find for Chino.

Interesting. Do you think Maidana has the technical ability to consistently land clean shots in Broner though? I can easily see Broner struggling to keep Maidana off if his power isn't getting any respect, he clearly isn't very good on his feet. But Maidana for his part isn't exactly a precision puncher, and while Broner might be right in front of him he's not bad at all when it comes to rolling and deflecting shots.
