If someone is in my seat when I do a booking for whatever, I aint gonna be happy. If I need more time, like say at Uni on a computer, then I will tell the person waiting first, please can you give me extra time etc... it's etiquette.
Robert is an instigator.
This is my personal opinion. Knowing Freddie Roach and how he is, I don't think the situation could have been avoided. Whether Robert Garcia approached Roach to inform him about the time change or not, I don't see Roach simply agreeing to it. If Garcia went up to him and said, "Look man, we had an interview with ESPN and Top Rank granted us another 30 min." Roach would have said "That's not my problem, they didn't inform me anything. This is our time." That's his style. Roach likes control. When the opponent is on the scale at the weigh in, you can bet that Roach is right there next to him (as he should be) ready to flip out the minute he sees some slight change.
Me personally, I don't want to take sides in these matters, since both parties were wrong. But I don't think Robert Garcia, himself did anything wrong. He responded with the same respect as Freddie approached him with. He just sat there the whole time explaining the situation. I think Alex Ariza ****ed the whole thing up. But I'm not going to analyze what should have been done in each situation. Who should have approached who, what tone did they use, what hand gestures did they do at specifically what time. **** all that. In that situation, you say what you feel. It was just a lack of communication and bad blood between Ariza and Freddie.

You may be right man, I don't know Roach that well but it is possible he would have flipped regardless, but also feel that if Robert had explained it CLEARLY, (if it's even the case that TR did grant more time) it would have been a case to help his situation more.
If TR did grant the extra time, I would have expected the 2nd or even 1st biggest promoter in the World to have informed Roach.
Well it's according to what Robert Garcia said and I don't see any reason for him to lie about it since he was the only one who conducted himself with any class during the altercation.
If he was granted extra time then why didn't he tell Roach?

Supposedly they were told its okay and it's not Garcia's problem to be behind it. If you rent something, and due to circumstances you werent able to use it as indicated so they say "sorry bro, keep it an extra hour"... Should that person worry about the other dude who has it reserved? No.
If that other dude asks me how come I'm still using that thing, I'd tell him "they gave me extra time". It's common courtesy.

Garcia started it by saying i don't give a fk when Roach was asking about what was going on his response was what mine would have been as well i would deff called Garcia a piece of **** as well. But all of that don't matter the whole story would have read "Camps heat up verbal altercation happens when Roach gets C*nty about his time" but no F@g Ariza frikking kicks Roach in the chest and ridicules his parkinson like the f@g coward that he is, and that folks that is when everything else said became meaningless.

We're assuming that nobody told Roach in the front (group of people who he talked to first) that Garcia got extra time. Is there no reason that we can assume maybe he WAS told and didnt care? Look at it both ways. Roach went up to Garcia man to man and told him to leave, Garcia said we still have time, and Roach reacted like a child so Garcia at this point is being disrespected so of course he's not going to say "Im sorry Roach I will leave now".
I would hope not a single one of you here would even bother explaining after being called a POS... Ariza is a scumbag but Roach was completely the instigator and Ariza followed suit. Garcia kept his cool but I also agree he should have tried to control the situation once Ariza got involved. Thing is Roach was out of hand so its hard to sympathize...
Youre in a fighters camp, as a former fighter trying to punk another former fighter... Nobody is going to bak down even if theyre wrong so I also dont blame Roach too much because as a man he had to stick to his guns. He should have done the right thing and asked to pull Robert for a talk first instead of trying to bulldog him during an interview... Or send someone over to ask whats going on..you know.. Like a normal person
According to 24/7 it was a few minutes after 11. Get your facts right
24/7 even pointed out that Robert didn't talk to Roach to give an explanation.
