johnm, as usual, you make good points and you are correct here. its just that some of us are growing tired of the LW/JWW at WW fights Manny has had over the last year plus and want him to fight a true ww that fits the "soft touch following a ko", especially since once he KO's this clown the floyd/manny hype begins again.

I definitely get that. I'm kind of in the minority with the Manny/Floyd hype. I don't really mind it that much. I figure, the only way we ever get the fight, is if Manny looks sensational against guys like Rios, and hype returns.

I hope Manny ices Rios in 3, and the hype train goes through the roof, lol.

John was spot on in what he said. The only people that have 'grown tired' just happen to overwhelmingly be floyd gimps. Its a good fight, either watch it or go cry in a corner somewhere.

ask your boy hulkquez why he wont take a rematch and make triple his money. is it the vada testing? is it the broken nose and the beatdown he was getting till pac got careless and walked in his punch or his health comes first. the easy answer is all of the above.

Rios opened +$450. the line didn't move in the 3 months since the line came out. This is a massive mismatch not a good fight. As a comparison only-on fight night ghost was +$425 on most sites v floyd.

Guys, there's not anything wrong with taking what they expect to be a soft touch after getting knocked out like he did.

That was a nasty knockout, and they need to see where he's at physically. And Rios' style is made to make Pacquiao look good, so we'll see where he's at mentally.

And this is going to be a really fun fight to watch, which is pretty much the only thing any of us should give a god damn about.
