main event fighters in ufc make most of their money on the back end. not up front which is ****** as hell. why would you pay a guy 30 million guarantee unless you are looking to lose money which is exactly what happened to showtime. boxing is the system that is messed up. giving ward 2 million dollars when he barely draws? makes no sense. gsp made over 12 million in 2012. if you are popular you make money. if you aren't then you don't. boxing has it backwards. they pay you a lot of money first and then hope by paying a fighter a lot that means he will be popular. doesn't work that way!
