I really hope this fight happens. Wilder has been doing well for himself, so it would be nice to see him step up in competition. This fight will definitely show if he's ready for the elite level of heavyweights. I wish him luck. Given his knockouts I say he is the most exciting heavyweight we've seen in a while. Plus Fury likes to **** too, so i don't see this fight going past round 7.

This would be a sweet fight. Somebody is getting KTFO. There's a 99.9% chance of it not happening though. Fury may be too much of a live body for Team Wilder.

now that vitali the fake legend has retired and wlad has been blacklisted for his fraudulent cheating we can get some real boxing. dont worry vitali can still continue dominating fantasy fights like he did his entire career.

If Wilder don't take it then that makes team Wilder look real bad. Wilder and his team keep going on about no one being able to take his punches, so isn't it about time to fight someone who just might be able to take them and then give some back?

Wilders had more fights and the fact that Wilders hasn't fought as good people as Fury, that's not Furys fault and is no excuse for Wilder to hold himself back.
Fury hasn't held back his career by fighting bums, so the fact that Wilder has, speaks volumes about Wilder and his team.

I agree. it would look very bad on wilder. he has 30 fights now whereas fury has less and has already fought at least descent guys like k Johnson and espescially chisora. theyre both much better than anyone wilder has faced. he needs to step up and take this fight. I think he has a very good chance with that huge right hand and fury's vulnerabilities to that punch so I really don't see any reason not to go for it

Looks like Fury's getting cold feet.

Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer said he received a telephone call from Mick Hennessy, the promoter of British heavyweight contender Tyson Fury, regarding a potential between the 6-foot-9 Englishman and 6-foot-7 knockout specialist Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder's in the wake of Fury's scheduled bout with David Haye having been called off for the second time.

But Schaefer said that since expressing genuine interest in the bout, he has not heard back from Hennessy and has not been unable to contact him.

"I got a call two days ago from Tyson Fury's promoter, Mick Hennessy, asking me if there would be any interest in Deontay Wilder fighting Tyson Fury, and I said, 'Yes, there is,' and then I said, 'make me an offer, and he was not prepared to make me an offer to fight Fury," said Schaefer of Fury, whose bout with Haye was called off after the former titleholder underwent surgery in Germany on Thursday morning (Nov. 14) to reconstruct his right shoulder.

"So then I said, 'Well, you know what we can do? We can just split it 50-50 and we'll get it done. Then he said, 'Well, let me talk to Sky [Sports channel in England] and I will get back to you. Well, that was two days ago. So I tried to reach him yesterday and he didn't answer his phone or call me back. So what I think has happened is that he must have talked to his matchmaker and they must have realized that Tyson Fury has no chance, and I think that they must have changed their minds because, all of a sudden, it has become very, very quiet. It's as if the telephone lines between the United States and the UK suddenly don't work."

Then Fury posted this on twitter.
