Comments Thread For: Fury-Wilder Talks Have Started, Confirms Hennessy

Tyson Fury's promoter Mick Hennessy has confirmed talks have started for a prospective heavyweight clash with unbeaten American Deontay Wilder following David Haye's withdrawal this week.

But Hennessy said Wilder is just one of a number of options currently being explored and stressed that Fury needs to be given time to get over the disappointment of a second big fight cancellation.

Fury took to Twitter on Wednesday to vent his spleen at the sport, even declaring: "Hi every1 I have officially retired from boxing" - a scenario immediately discounted by his team. [Click Here To Read More]

The payment they're discussing is probably much, much lower than the Haye fight. That's what has him feeling so down, no doubt.

the Klit development only concerns VItali.
You want to get closer, you beat Wilder and take his spot

Fury by KO. Wilder has nothing but a punchers chance, he is so bad. His right hand is his only saving grace.

              He's Wilder and Stronger

              Steve Cunningham exposed Fury.
If cruiserweight power was capable of putting him on his back, then Wilder will put him to sleep.

wilder can take this with ease if he boxes smart and avoids getting roughed up and smothered by fury. all it takes is one or two bombs from wilder to potentially change or end the fight. whoever has fury lets bet!

And Fury doesn't? He's not "skillful". He uses his strength and size to tire people out.

He got knocked down by one of the best cruisers in the world, then knocked him the hell out.
Wilder got knocked down by Sconiers.... that's 10 times worse.
I'd rather be knocked down by a world class fighter than Sconiers
