    Michael Katz about Barrera

For all of you who are calling Barrera a coward, or saying he's ducking Pacquiao, here is what Michael Katz, probably the most respected boxing writer there is today, had to write about MAB in his latest article at Maxboxing.com

Marco Antonio Barrera. Absolutely a first-balloteer (to the hall of fame), and especially if he adds a title in a fourth weight division by beating Jesus Chavez for a lightweight belt March 25. Just the courage in taking that fight shows what kind of warrior Barrera is. And let's not forget how he drove Naseem Hamed from the game, won at least two of three from Erik Morales and hopefully he'll go for a rematch with Pacquiao.

This coward ****e is ridiculous, but I don't think MAB wants any more of Manny. It's guy-on-the-way-up vs. guy-on-the-way-down, and MAB isn't going to find any more energy next time, another couple years older. Let the guy rest on his (very impressive) laurels.

I'm not saying Barrera is ducking Pacquiao but if you read the sentence carefully, he said "hopefully". He's basically saying "I hope Barrera fights Pacquiao" and NOT "Barrera will fight Pacquiao."

That is what that ****** writer says and you easily believe it more than basic common sense. lol!

It's probably one of those ****** writers who ate their word when PAC destroyed Morales. lol! No wonder he's sour-graping.

          MAB is a Mexican *****.

whenever manny mentioned side by side with barrera's name, the argument will always be that MAB is a first ballot HOF... it's not about hall of fame or the like, it's talking too much then not backing it up...

Katz is a good writer and he is dead on!

                1) Barerra is a sure fire hall of famer!

                2) Barerra has balls taking on the bigger slugger in Jesus Chavez!

                3) Barerra needs to persure the rematch with Manny.

Katz is a good writer and he is dead on!

he is taking on a lesser-dangerous fighter

chavez is good but why settle for less when he can avenge his embarassment from pac?

Actually, it is you who should try to learn boxing... you wanna know the reason?

                    Well, I'll teach you.

***** Barrera says... "I don't fight Morales' leftovers"

My question is... why are you fighting Chavez who's a leftover and not PAC who clearly aint?

***** Barrera replies... "I don't fight Morales' leftovers".

                    Yeah, right. Whatever Barrera.
