That doesn't meant anything at all, and thinking this with the example that you've given is clearly a sign of ignorance.

1- Vitali came in the fight with an injured right hand, torn his left shoulder's ligament around the 2nd-3rd round and dominated Chisora( without mentioning Chisora got rocked in the 10th).

2- In the fight Haye vs Chisora you could clearly see that both could have been knocked out, Haye nearly gassed out but thanks to his speed he caught Chisora who was litterally walking into his shots.

3- A knockout doesn't come with punching power alone as styles make fights. It dépends on your strategy etc... For instance, Mike Tyson couldn't Knock out Donovan Ruddock, Tommy Morrison could. DOes that mean Morrison hits harder than Tyson? Come on!

By the way, Wladimir lifts up to 495 lbs , I would be extremely surprised if that is Haye's case. We all know that Haye is bulking up and that he needs to eat an incredible amount of food suppléments etc.. to stay at Heavyweight. Wasn't he near to go Under the 200 lbs when he was in the jungle? An that is supposed to hit harder than Wladimir Klitschko? Let me laugh for a second please!

If he was inducted it would be extremely disrespectful to a lot of other fighters, and mean that the HOF had lowered their standards to a new level - they have already shown to be pretty low imo.
I agree. he probably had hall of fame talent but his resume isnt hof material. too much inactivity and such

Understand David Haye had a 85% KO ratio, understand only 2 men lasted the distance with him who were reigning heavyweight champions, Haye unified the cruiserweight division and than became heavyweight champion. Haye had the fastest hand speed, head movement and most powerful punching power in his ERA.

Understand he is a legitimate candidate for hall of fame.
No. He unified the CW division against punching bag Enzo and never defended his titles. He was never the heavyweight champion, he wasn't even a titlist. He won a interm title that Don King and the WBA turned into the regular title by pretending Chagaev never had a belt. Haye defended that interm belt until he fought the legitimate WBA Champion Klitschko and lost. Interm titlist.

His legacy will be that of the biggest ducking disgrace we've seen in modern boxing.

Even if Haye had beaten Fury, Arreola, Adamek, Povetkin, Peter, Pulev over the last couple of years he shouldn't have been inducted. These figters have never beaten anyone of note. The only fighters that could have put Haye up for the HOF are Wlad and Vitali.
We'll differ on the Nelson part, which is ok, but if Haye beats the heavyweights that you have mentioned, he would most definitely be a legitimate HOF contender. Each one of those men is a top 10-15 fighter in the division, if Haye beat them all, what is stopping him from being HOF, considering his limited run at CW too.

if Barry McGuigan is in Haye should be. The standard in the HOF isn't that great.
