I'm a Korean and I'm so proud of Son, because even in Korea almost nobody thought he had any chance beating 3 time world champion but he did! I thought Son would get KOd in 3 rounds personally. Seriously watch the fight he got robbed because it was held by Japanese promotion. He knocked him down, busted him up. Kameda got both eyes cut with a bloody nose he was this close to being knocked out in the 11,12 rounds. Rematch!!!!!

One of the judges scored 114.5 - 114 and I never seen scoring like this in my life. What the hell is 114.5 ?

The WBA implemented 1/2 point scoring for this fight. Fitting, since the number of titles it allocates pretty much makes most of the claimant half-champions.

I see, thank you for the information. One more thing the fight was held by Kameda Promotion, and Japanese broadcast was off after the fight while scoring, but on Korean TV we were able to see the judges discussing scores with Kameda's seconds...

                  Nothing shady there.
Of course there'll be no outrage because people here rarely care unless it's their favorite fighter

some of the previous posts are laughable...keep up w/the times an changes...even a while back England used a 5 point scoring system & 1/2 points...the only negative, aside it is WBA based in Panama with a lot of political clout, but poor boxing in it's own back yard (Caballaro & Luis Concepcion are NOT world class now), no clarity as what distinguishes when the 1/2 point is administers...nothing in there site relevant this...
