other than kessler, the SS got to everybody before they were huge draws.

that tournament would cost way too much money. they'd literally need to put the fights on ppv, or it would bankrupt them.

I dont see the need to copy an idea we've already seen. Its also hard to do over 3 weight classes.
I would like to see ward/chavez @ 168 and setvenson/kovavlev @ 175 on the same ppv card. then do froch/ggg on a separate non ppv card.

          That would be epic
Great idea and I don't care if they are in different weight classes, I want to see at least some of these fights happen, although GGG is at a huge disadvantage as he's the smallest guy here. Plus they need to make this tourney shorter than the 2-3 years it took to have the Showtime S6 come together, that was ridiculous.

sad thing is, something like this has 0 chance of happening as Froch has spoken about never moving up to 175, Ward doesn't ravel, Stevenson is being saved for a big Hops clash (if he can get past Bellew) and Kovalev will be built into a name by fighting a similar level of opposition that GGG has faced.

if the best are gonna fight the best, great
but any more tournaments should be regular elimination format
that round robin thing in the S6 dragged on too long
and it got muddled with the injuries and withdrawals
beyond that, LHW doesn't really need one
would be nice to see it happen at WW though

This is a much better idea and a great way to build a Ward/GGG fight.
