not trying to start an argument, but this is a pretty irrational thing to say, seeing as taylor is in his prime, fighting his natural weight and obviously is not one dimensional, he has great skillsOriginally posted by DiEgO_cHiCo_CoRRaLeSwinky's ganna make taylor look worse than he made tito look!Comment

I favor winky because Taylor's style is not all that polished. He did very well against Hopkins but that was because of Hopkin's style. Hopkins carries a fight through the rounds at a slow pace and relies on his dominance of this pace game he plays, he's like a racecar drafting to carry his momentum passed the lead car at the end. Taylor is a good fighter and will be a better one but right now Winky is at the top of his game and is known for his well polished and utylized style.Comment

i call that a young, prospective middleweight in there with a fighter who literally quit in the last few rounds because he just didn't care anymore.Originally posted by outofitWell than what did you call Taylor/Joppy?
And okay, before anyone else tries to shout out some more technicalities with the 'Taylor's never dominated' comment... i'm sure early on he's had some one-sided wins because of the level of competition, which of course, is not going to be as high when first starting out as a pro. So if you're about to type something such as, "Well, i saw him fight on the undercard of such-and-such in 2001 and he stopped the guy real early, it was like his 3-4th fight", you can save it. He's a young guy, i'm basically covering the last 1-2 years since his name has become known, but also taking nothing away from his wins.Last edited by restless_438; 02-03-2006, 05:08 PM.Comment
