too big a step up for wilder. not saying he should keep boxing the level of opposition he has been, its time he steps up but leaping up in class is seldom a wise move. he has the power to potentially bail him out but against an easy target in fury but in the long haul its still a bad move.

It all depends on the money.
It's nice for Wilder and Fury to challenge each other on Twitter, but will Fury's promotional team offer the kind of money Haye was getting? Half? A small fraction?
Also, GBP holds promotional rights for Wilder, which means Haye's promoter will have to pay them a big chunk of money to make the fight, or share in the promotion.
And then there's the HBO-Showtime thing. GBP has a deal with Showtime, which means they won't be keen on any deal that would land the fight on HBO. So that will also be a consideration.
If the money is there, the fight will be made. If not, just Twitter talk.

Fury is a seasoned veteran with superb all round boxing skills. He is very solid fundamentally with superb hand speed and can **** with both hands. Not forgetting he also has a tremendous engine.
