if you try to look at pac's punches, his power punches with the left hand comes from the waist thnen up... that's his style... if he keeps his left on his chin while he doubles up, he wouldn't have the same momentum....Originally posted by RunWithKnivesYeah Pac's punches are textbook perfect.
The only thing I think he needs to work on....which obviously doesn't cause much trouble for him:
Is keeping his left hand up when he throws the right jab.
I noticed he lets it down when he doubles up. His opponents are busy avoiding his punches and don't counter.
Notice. Winky NEVER lets his left hand down when jabbing.....but since nobody respects his power they counter.

Hamed's power was the real deal. He had even more power than Pac. Thing is, Manny is lighting fast, while Hamed wasn't. That's why he could never tag Barrera in their fight.Originally posted by Gunstar1Lol, you have to be kidding. Hamed power was so overrated, he didn't hurt Barrera not even once.
Also Freitas KO ratio has gone down when he's fighting world class fighters. Anyone that can stop Morales, has more power in my book.
Both hit hard, but my vote is for Pac. The only 130 pounder that hit harder then Pac was Chico at 130.Comment

Hamed was good looking with what seemed to be amazing power against lame fighters. These were fighters that would let Hamed setup so he could dance around like a monkey landing his power shots. Barrera exposed him and any other top elite boxer would have. I think Hamed's power was overrated beating no names. His best win was Kevin Kelly. Kelly played into Hamed's dumb game. When someone is good and focused vs Hamed, like Barrera, or Morales would have killed him, then he looks like the joke he was.Comment

He was a joke, but his power was for real. Granted, you need some boxing skill to display such power, but still Hamed unloaded ****ing bombs.Originally posted by ELPacmanHamed was good looking with what seemed to be amazing power against lame fighters. nah! Hamed was a joke and he really has no power at all. More like overrated and bloated perceptions of his punch.Originally posted by morancitoHe was a joke, but his power was for real. Granted, you need some boxing skill to display such power, but still Hamed unloaded ****ing bombs.
If he ever comes back again, PAC would show him what real power is.

Hamed had awesome one punch power, as he showed against good champions like Kevin Kelley and Wilfredo Vázquez. Still, the debate is about 130 and Hamed was at 126. Between Freitas and Pacquiao, I choose Freitas because, although both are huge punchers, Freitas is a much bigger man. I am a fan of Freitas, but sometimes he throws sloppy punches and gets careless. His performance against Grigorian was horrible even though he won.Comment

THE QUESTION SHOULD BE...
WHO CAN TAKE WHO'S PUNCHES AT 130?
I'm guessin' the Pac could swallow the hardest Popo punch...while on the other hand Popo would hit the deck by a single left-straight by Pac.
But that's just me...Comment
