Carl Froch believes his experience of his epic win over Mikkel Kessler in May will give him the edge when he defends his WBA and IBF World Super Middleweight titles against George Groves at the sold-out Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, live on Sky Sports Box Office on November 23.

Froch defeated Kessler in their titanic rematch at The O2 in front of a capacity crowd in London, and the four-time World champion says he thrives on the sensation of lifting belts in front of a packed out Arena.

“There’s no greater feeling than standing victorious in the Arena, especially in front of a sell-out crowd with 20,000 people cheering your name,” said Froch.

So what! It's fight week and he is selling tickets. He's a great boxer who always makes for an exciting fight. He does not deserve any negativity especially considering what he has achieved; number two in the division behind one of the greatest boxers of our time (Ward).

I have written this before, Groves is a slick boxer but this is a step up for him, not a huge step up, but I think Groves will falter in the championship rounds where Froch still punches hard and has much more experience. I can see a draw at best for Groves but I expect him to hit the canvas in those later rounds. If he gets up he will lose on points.
