You can't lump all the millions of boxing fans together. They are individuals and they all think and act differently. Without boxing fans there would be no boxing or pro boxers. Of course world titles mean something and are important or fighters would not try so hard to win them and champions would not make more money than non champions.

I agree that boxing fans arent necessarily an educated bunch but other sports don't have 4+ different champions for the same division/league. So yeah it's okay in my book to critize a so-called champ or discredit the victory over a paper champ because titles don't mean a thing when there's over 4 ways to claim it. Lineal titles are all that really matter. Title shots are sometimes only that by definition and not legit, so therefore A champ isn't always THE CHAMP.

In no other sport will you here fans saying titles mean nothing and beating other champions mean nothing..in what other sport would beating a top contender mean more then beating "THE CHAMPION"? fans of the sport are so damn biased it is sickening..they pick against a fighter but when they win they discredit them...if i was a boxer i'd say **** ya'll too cause ya'll are a damn joke
