if it's any consolation, froch's wife has a world class body and ward's wife is built like a dump truck.

      Who's Annie? I don't know Annie.

But the Froch reference makes me think of something else... page after page of "Carl Froch could never be in a close fight with Andre Ward".

Now, I thought Carl won, at the most generous, four rounds (the championship rounds where Andre was tiring, one mid round - ISTR 7th? - which he genuinely won and even Andre looked surprised, and then I guess, if you wanted to, you could say he won the "jack all really happened" first).

But the REALITY was, two of the three judges preferred his style to Andre's, and gave him 5 rounds.

Whatever we think, it's idiotic NSB (and why am I trying to talk sense into NSB???) saying "yo, karl frotch cud never bee in a cloase fite with andre"... he already HAS been in a close fight with Andre Ward. Two of the judges scored it 115-113.

Whatever anyone thinks of that, that was the OFFICIAL verdict.

Doubtless now a legion of morons will say "yo, u rilly fink dat frotch wun firve round's?"

      Just READ, you mother****ers.

I gave him the second too, Ward winning every round after that. 10-2

Kellerman is a cheerleader. In fact, the whole HBO team were cheerleaders last night. Poor show.

This a pretty pedantic thread. Oh no Max Kellerman didn't credit the judges giving Edwin a round!!!! Better petition HBO to fire him!!!!

A lot of people had the fight scored a shut-out, IIRC so did Weissfeld with the HBO team. Ward basically won every round.

You should have stuck to the "Max is an unrepentant nuthugger" line instead of bringing in the judges.

he's the guy whose threads i enter upon his request on my bscene wall. i do it for green karma only, not because i should "get in the thread, ****."

i've watched that fight several times, and i give two rounds to froch. he got completely outclassed. he didn't win four rounds, five rounds, whatever the brits will try and tell you that he won. he was literally starting to talk about retirement after that fight.

i definitely gave rodriguez round one. he was whipping those clubbing shots, and you score those things when they land. rodriguez has a world class trainer. he surely told him that his energy levels would be highest early on, as he was very drawn at the weigh in.

i rarely score fights live, but i remember distinctly saying "rodriguez won that round, and ward did nothing other htan try and extend the fight into round two."

Next time I post, you'll read it, slut.

I said that, at the most generous, ie at a STRETCH, you could give him four. Like, if you really, REALLY wanted to. I didn't score the fight as I was too busy :wank: , but if I did I'd have scored it, probably, 117-111 Ward.

But, from that fight (and from others he's been in), we can deduce that Froch has a come-forward style that's appreciated by a lot of Fat Yank judges. So it's possible he could repeat, or even better, the trick... lose 10 rounds to our eyes and yet "beat" Andre.

So in other words, forget what we see as fans and how we score a fight. I mean why do fans even cry about robberies? It's obvious the judges had it right.

i read your post, including the part where you generously give froch rounds and then say "but it's not me giving him the rounds, doe, it's da judjez!"

two rounds. one was close. 7 and 11, perhaps? i havent' watched it in a while, and will not be arsed into scoring a one sided fight agian.

it was a one sided fight, mac. anybody who says otherwise is wrong. repeating bad scorecards has no value.

Ward took a page out of Manny Pacquiao's playbook.
