Agreed. There's simply not enough people wanting to watch Ward. He is too boring and too dirty.

To call Ward beating Froch an ass kicking is laughable. Fool was hanging on for dear life in the last three rounds.

In the old days when they fought till there was a winner, Froch would win every single time.

        Froch is a better fighter.

However i will admit that Ward's grabbing, clinching, wrestling and hitting on the break is highly effective.

I cannot see either happen know even if Ward somehow discovered his passport. Ward is simply too boring, too dirty and too unspectacular to be the kind of draw his p4p status leads to assume.
You make a valid point here. wouldn't be shocked if HBO sees Froch as the guy GGG beats to elevate into the top 10 p4p, assuming a Sergio fight can't be made. GGG/Froch is more sellable than either fighting Ward.

Absolutely. Who wouldn't want to see GGG - Froch? It would be a blockbuster.

That said, I'd prefer Golovkin staying at 160 which is the second most prestigerous division in boxing. He should only change division for a mega fight with Floyd IMO.

Come on Bat, lets keep it sane. we all want the floyd payday. IN GGG's case beat Froch in england then get ward and chavez-thats where his money is going to be made. He has an outside shot of fighting Canelo down the road at 160/68 should the beef end.

              Not dropping to 154.

Correction...With You Being A KESSLER FAN...YOUR HOPING HE DOESN'T ACCEPT THE OFFER If It Is Made

YOu know like I know that Kessler don't stand a ***in CHANCE against Ward I don't even give him a Punchers Chance

The "HE IS BORING" EXCUSE is getting as lame as a Fat Person saying they are fat because they have a "THYROID PROBLEM"

"He Is Boring" by today's Extremely LOW Casual Fans Standard= HE IS TOO GOOD AND TOO SKILLED FOR MY FAVORITE FIGHTER TO DEFEAT!

If your a great fighter, don't b1tch about a fighter style...like Froch and others does, get them in the ring and DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR STYLE TO DEFEAT IT! But they know they can't do anything about it so they just go b1tching to the media about another fighters style and use that as an excuse to avoid a fighter they know that is simply just...BETTER!

Ward thinks he is about to get big bucks. He thinks he has earned the right. What he doesn't understand (and you dont understand) is that boxing is not only a sport, it's also a business in the entertainment industry. Ward does not entertain. He bores.

Ward thinks he is entitled to an ****ngous sum of dough if he was to travel to Europe. Well the money just isn't there. He is too dull and too dirty. I understand that tickets where given away in his own state of California. He couldn't sell out even in his own home state! Pretty telling. And then one would think that we where about to witness the new Ward after he actually set down on his punches against Glass Jawson, but it was back to his old boring, dirty, non PED tested self.

Poor Ward. He will never be as popular as Kessler or Froch even though he is better. He will never be very popular period.

His last two fights weren't even boring (for him) and people still complained about him. He did all that was expected and people still cried boring.

He should probably just retire. He's cleaned out 168 and only about 30 people like him, the rest relentlessly complain about him.

Even if he moves up, he'd end up just fighting johnny-come-lately's Kovalev and Stevenson and even if he beat them no one would care anyways.

He should look for one more money fight and call it a career.

It's clear people don't like his style as evidenced by the heavily papered seats in Ontario and the constant bashing of him on here.

HBO tried they really did, but it just didn't work.

Ward was self-aware when he talked of retirement.

He has nothing left to prove.

Your favourite fighters are always ... Hmmmm.... Odd. Caballero, Oquendo, Gerber and Jones.
Oquendo? I did sit next to him at a fight and we talked about the James Toney fight which I thought he won. He lives in Chicago and is a good dude so I root for him though not a fan of his "style' a lot of the time.
I saw him beat Derrick Rossy not too long ago at a casino.

I like most top notch Panamanians and when Caballero beat a Thai fighter I liked I started following his career. His awkward style and brashness were great and I loved how he constantly egged on Juan Ma.

                      G. Jones is a freak of nature roided or not.
