I dont know why people think ward is so boring, I thought the fight last night was entertaining. One sided? ABSOLUTELY. But I thought he did all he could to make a good fight out of it. I mean the kessler fight ok i get that it was all holding, hugging and a lot of headbutts. But the rest of the super six he was a more exciting inside fighter. And in his last two outings it really seemed like he has stepped up the offense and was gunning for a knockout. Also his defense is good but its not like he runs around the ring, he stands in front of the other guy he just knows how not to get hit. No one enjoys a good slugfest more than me (my dream fight right now is rios vs provodnikov) but if a guy can get in the ring and not take a beating why would he. Its not his fault hes so much better than the competition. A guy like rigondeux i can see people not liking. I enjoy his fights but he does run alot and has very low output especially for his weight class. But ward is right around the super middleweight average for punches thrown and he puts together some really good combinations. Some guys throw a lot of punches but all jabs so people think thats boring but his jab is so good its basically just a power punch. By definition hes not a "fan friendly fighter" but im sure not going to miss any of his fights. Idk i just dont get what all the hate is about.

... And you came to hug, clinch and just show everybody why you are not a P4P fighter. Sorry, that's just the reality of it.

Or you could just go down to your local bar on the weekend. The fights there probably don't go the distance.
