The Pascal/Bute winner wouldn't be a bad start at 175 though if Froch doesn't materialize.

Besides, he has lucrative bouts in a third Abraham or going over/Froch Coming over

I don't know if HBO would travel for Stieglitz. I think the only international fight they would cover would be Froch in the UK or Stevenson/Pascal/Bute in Montreal.

Why would Stieglitz be a good opponent? Stieglitz lost to Abraham, he avenged the loss, but he's not a world class fighter.

He should move up to 175. He'll likely beat everyone there, but at least the fights will be more interesting than at 168.

I say take on Anthony Dirrell-his former mandatory-if or when Anthony Dirrell beat Bika.I have no doubt Anthony Dirrell beats Bika, and i have no doubt Ward avoids him again.Anthony Dirrell is`nt one of those hype jobs Ward fought in the super six,nor is he another Edwin Rodriguez, and he`s certainly not a weight drained Dawson.Anthony Dirrell have very good boxing skills, speed and power.People say he didn`t look impressive in his last fight but what they don`t understand is that Anthony Dirrell chose to brawl with his last opponent cause he knew he couldn`t hurt him. When Anthony Dirrell chose to box him at times,he had a much easier time.Against Ward,Anthony would have more respect and would fight intelligently.

Stieglitz has a deal with SAT1 (german private tv network), gonna fight Abraham next... and they arent putting him against ward, they just want to milk him in domestic fights or against unknown cab drivers who just come to lose. Stieglitz isnt even liked in germany, no fanbase but they have no other fightes at SAT1 besides him and Sturm.

Not possible, WBC will either demand he fights the mando (Chavez Jr) before anything or strip him if he tries.... and I think Anthony might want to keep the belt

Ward needs to move to lhw. There is nothing left at 168. Well, actually I guess no there are people who actually believe GGG could take him. So while some would like that fight, I'd pass it of as one of Ward's lesser greater victories.

I don` t think you understand some of Wards fans mindset. They want him to take only easy fights so Ward will always look like superman so they come here and brag how great he is.But yet they want every other boxer to take on tough fights, and if they don`t,they go on message boards and youtube and complain how such and such fighter is cherry picking.

                      Copied from another thread :

He should move up to 175, there's nothing left for him at 168. GGG will spend another year at 160, Froch probably won't chase a rematch, and Chavez's people aren't crazy enough to let him fight Ward.
