I got home late.....turned the fight on and saw SOG sitting in the corner getting praised by Virgil and the commentators mentioned the fight was one sided in favor of SOG....I just took my ass to bed....that's all I remember

          Turned it off after two.

First he drains Dawson then he fights dirty vs a guy who couldn't even make weight.

Glad I got rid of HBO.

Great performance by Andre Ward especially considering he was 14 months out. His jab/left hook was absolutely fantastic, he didn't use and doesn't even need his right offensively much directly to do damage it's mainly used to help set up the hard left. Can't see anyone beating Andre Ward anytime soon.

Folks who call fighters like Ward "boring" simply don't understand that at Ward's level, you're going to encounter opponents who come into the ring with no intention of fighting a real fight. Ward demonstrated how you put these guys in their place.
This is the truth. Ward is an amazing boxer. p4p#2

I can watch tape of Rigs and Floyd all day on rerun for all it matters and still thoroughly enjoy their fights. Ward just doesn't radiate the same glow as those boxers. I'm proud to have him represent us an American champ and Olympic gold medalist but I still don't care for him.
